  1. Grazing paddocks are created by dividing fields with inside fences (also known as cross fences). Materials for temporary, semi-permanent, or permanent fencing can be used to build inside fences. An inner fence should be strong enough to keep weaned lambs away from their mothers and/or rams away from ewes, even if it typically isn't necessary to keep predators out. In order to confine regions for momentary grazing, temporary fencing might be employed. (e.g. a corn or wheat field). Potentially, it must be predator-proof.
